Claude Cowork turned a meal-prep video into a stocked grocery cart
Watching a meal-prep video and building a shopping list by hand ate up time each week. Claude Cowork extracted the recipes, matched ingredients to past-invoice brands, filled the cart, and saved the recipes to Notion.

Result Matched an exact oat milk brand from a past invoice
“if my past invoice said “Oatly Barista Edition 1000ml,” it searched for that specifically instead of just grabbing the first oat milk result.”

What they did
They gave Claude Cowork a YouTube meal-prep video and asked it to extract the recipes and ingredients, build a shopping list, and match items to the brands they usually buy using past grocery invoices. Cowork then added the matched items to the cart on their grocery delivery site, offering alternatives when a product wasn’t available, and created a Notion page with the recipes.
How it went
Cowork matched specific brands from old invoices instead of grabbing the first result, rewrote searches when items couldn’t be found, and filled the cart, though the process was slow and it struggled with quantities for items sold by weight. They said the workflow is going into their routine.

Give [your agent] a link to a meal-prep video and ask it to: extract the recipes and ingredients, build a shopping list, match items to brands from your past grocery invoices in [your invoices folder], add everything to your cart on [your grocery site] without checking out, and offer alternatives for anything unavailable. Then have it save the recipes to a new page in [Notion or your notes app].
