What they did
Using the VM that comes with Meta Muse, they had it install duckdb for their budgeting.
How it went
It now runs automated exports into duckdb for their budgeting. They also installed Claude Code on the same VM, but haven’t had much reason to use it yet.
Try it yourself with Meta Muse
Set up duckdb (or [your preferred local database]) in my environment, then build an automated export pipeline that pulls my [budget/transaction] data into it on a recurring schedule so I always have an up to date local copy to query.

Apartment hunting with a long list of requirements, they gave Muse the list and had it search Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace daily for places that fit. It only pings them when something worthwhile turns up.
They had stuff to sell and were at the gym. Meta Muse, which has native access to their Facebook account and Messenger, was asked to do it, and it listed their Meta Quest 3.
Meta's Muse logs into the school system with its credential vault, collects the homework and due dates, and adds each one with a reminder the day before. Early days: "We shall see!"
Muse got the light rail tip right, faster and cheaper than Uber. Then it picked restaurants that had closed, got a shop's hours wrong, and panicked that their flight left today. It didn't.
A former PwC tax preparer did their own return with Claude, then again in TurboTax. Claude read the forms and statements and caught a missed credit, and the two matched to the dollar after reconciling.
Possible business expenses were buried in a stack of credit card statements. Claude Code went through every statement, flagged the charges that might need reimbursing and put them in an Excel sheet.
