What they did
Runs NanoClaw on a Mac mini, talking to it over Telegram. It works through their central task list and nudges them about to-dos. They can send it a picture of food, and it fetches a recipe and sorts it into their wiki through a general “inbox” skill. Every day at 12:30 it gives a mini stand-up of all their personal projects and to-dos.
How it went
Routine jobs go to local models to keep token costs down, and so far it costs no more than $10-20 a month. Everything is sandboxed and the files it writes are kept in git, so there’s a change history and easy rollback.
