A photo of a bill: Hermes Agent paid it and filed it
Payment portals, and bills always left to the last minute. One photo of a mailed bill went to a Hermes Agent with a Stripe agent wallet, and it paid the bill and filed the receipt.

“Ok this is sick. I just sent a photo of a bill I got in the mail to my Hermes agent and it just went out, paid it, and filed the receipt for me.”

What they did
They run a Hermes Agent set up with an agent wallet for payments. When a bill arrived in the mail, instead of logging into a payment portal, they took a photo of it and sent it to the agent.
How it went
The agent went out, paid the bill and filed the receipt; the wallet needs their approval for each transaction. They also sent it a photo of a broken part on their Dyson vacuum, and it found and bought a replacement, with their oversight. They say they are not yet ready to let it book travel or make large purchases.
Try it yourself with Hermes Agent
Give your agent (such as Hermes Agent) an agent wallet like Stripe's Link for agents, then send it a photo of a bill or a broken part, for example: '[agent name], here is a photo of a bill that came in the mail, please pay it and file the receipt for me,' or ask it to find and order a replacement part, with your approval required before it spends anything.

Small annoyances, one inbox. Their Hermes agent pulls invoice data from forwarded PDFs into a cost sheet, rolls unfinished to-dos over at 11:59pm, and warns when it's too windy for the lawn furniture.

Mood, food, habits and sleep, logged daily for months. A Hermes agent writes end-of-day reports (they miss a lot), but asking Claude for correlations surfaced a pattern they'd never noticed.
